In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Russia Takes 'Occupy Wallstreet' a bit too seriously. Russian troops control Wallstreet as Delta Force operatives fight from skyscraper to skyscraper to knock out Russian radio jamming equipment. The fast pace action in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 lives up to its action packed predecessors. The world is now thrown in chaos as World War 3 is now in full swing, Russia and America are in a fight that neither country can win, but what is the true reason they are at war?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 continues the story that was left off in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It takes alot of the excellent gameplay of Modern Warfare 2 and improves upon it. Beside similar multiplayer gameplay, Modern Warfare 3 continues and concludes the story that was started in the first Modern Warfare. It is an epic campaign that expands upon the large scope that was introduced in Modern Warfare 2. It is a fly by the seat of your pants, hold on tight, explosion pack ride. Get ready to be 'wowed'!

The single player campaign is by the far my favorite part of this game. Finally to see a conclusion to the story that was left hanging at the end of Modern Warfare 2, was satisfying, and made you feel even more part of the story. Getting to follow through the whole campaign is quite the satisfactory experience.

The multiplayer part of the game is fairly good. It is very similar to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Most of you Modern Warfare 2 veterans will feel very much at home in this game. The developers added new weapons, perks and kill streaks. Along with the new maps this provides a fresh experience, while being similar enough to provide that fluid gameplay expected in a Call of Duty game. Don't be expecting a Black Ops game though. The multiplayer experience in this game is similar to Modern Warfare 2 and more fast paced compared to Black Ops. Majority of the maps are small and circular, meaning that firefights are frequent and fast.. you better grab your best headphones and get ready to fight.

Overall I would recommend this game to most, if not all of my friends. If you are a first person shooter fan it is defiantly worth a look. And if you are Modern Warfare fan, it is a must buy for the story or multiplayer!

Graphics - 7
Nothing in this title was revolutionary. Most skins were copied from Modern Warfare 2 and most graphics looked similar to that game rather than being newer looking. Nothing very eye catching in this game. The graphics are nice, but also not the best in current games when compared to graphics in Skyrim and Battlefield 3.

Audio - 6
Some of the sound effects in this game may sound 'realistic' to untrained players, but to a person who has been around explosives and projectile weapons such as M16's, M4's and AK-47's, it isn't all too realistic. Alot of echoing and bass is added to give it a more theatrical sound, compared to a realistic sound. Most wouldn't considered this a problem, but in a game that advertises being realistic to 'war', it isn't very realistic sound wise. The voice acting in the game could also be alot better, but isn't horrible. Overall I would give the music and sound effects in this game and average grade. Not horrible, but not also ground breaking.

Story - 9
This is where I believe this game excels. If you are a fan of the Modern Warfare storyline, or really a fan of any war stories, the story in the game is epic. It is a blockbuster story with moments that you feel as close to a video game character as you may in some of the biggest drama actors who win a plethora of awards. Very few games capture this in their stories, and very few care about this. I think that the team that worked on this game balanced the action of the game well with the story. They also had an amazing story to work with.

Gameplay - 7
While the game didn't add too much new game features to this series, it did improve upon a few of the staples in the Call of Duty series. Kill Confirmed was added to the mix of multiplayer modes which is a team death match that you have to collect the dog tags of the enemies you kill to actually get a point. Besides this mode, not much has changes from Modern Warfare 2. New maps and weapons only change gameplay to a small extent. Most of the changes are minor and it plays very similar to the second installment of the series. If you were a fan of the second game, then you will love multiplayer in this game. If you didn't care for the gameplay in the second modern warfare, don't be expecting this game to be a revolutionary game. It took the success of Modern Warfare 2 and just added onto it with a few small changes.

Overall Score - 7

While not a perfect game, Modern Warfare 3 defiantly blows the competition out of the water. If you are looking for a solid shooter this is the game for you. Great story and a solid enough multiplayer for hours of fun.
